Pest control in Maclean

Cane country and river flats — Maclean and Townsend pest control.

A calm estuary on the New South Wales North Coast at first light

Maclean is cane country, and cane country means rodents. Harvest pushes rats and mice out of the paddocks and into sheds, roof voids and wall cavities, and the pattern is predictable enough to treat ahead of rather than after.

The hill blocks and the flats behave quite differently. Properties on the slope get more spider and ant work; the flats near the river get rodents and, after wet years, mosquitoes in numbers that make outdoor areas unusable at dusk.

Older Queenslanders around town often have generous subfloor space, which is comfortable for a lot more than the homeowner.
